You swim through the gates, which hide a whole city -- or a rather large village -- that goes deep into the ocean. As soon as you enter the gates, there is a sharp drop that leads down for what seems like half a mile.
But the trip is very worth it; all the buildings here are made out of a grey-silver rock. The buildings, though, are twisty and turny, and even a bit pointy. Some of the smaller homes, or whatever they are, are no more than a grey mound with a hole. The other buildings, however, rise up and are decorated.
After smiling a while, you meet a rather prissy woman, who turns to you. "Ah, a wanderor," she says, raising her head warily. "I am Quaddsul. I am one of the royal house members, although royalty has meant less and less now of days." You see a crown on her head and realize that it still matters to her.
"I suppose I can guide you, if you'd like, throughout Aquax." Using her trident, she points to the left. "You might find a few people who live over there, or their pets. That seems to be the most talkative bunch. And don't let the houses with just a dome and a hole fool you. Long ago, the King of this town used to reside in one. They can be grand within!" She smiles. She points right. "Over there is a bit of a library, although we don't have many books at all...we're not big readers here, in Aquax."
