As you drop down to explore this house, you find that there is a large plaque over the door that reads, "The Royal Rasol". What's a Rasol? Is that a surname, or what? Perhaps these are the royal family members that the other mermaid was refering to. You enter.
Four people, two wearing crowns, are seated in the corner on large chairs, with a table between them all. They seem to be playing some sort of game with shiny shells. As you introduce yourself, each of them gets out of the chairs, which you then realize are large oyster shells.
"I am Cuirpol Rasol," she says. "My brother is Zheworbur. We are the children of the Royal Rasol, the lineage of the leaders of Aquax." She bows to her parents and says, "Lyldshy and Quothold."
You're a bit shocked and croak your apology for bothering the king and his family, but Quothold laughs a deep, booming laugh that makes you feel at ease. He is not angry.
"I am not the king," he says. "We can indeed rule, but now most is run by vote. We do have some special rights, which are kept to our family simply because only one family should keep them. So, because of our lineage, the Rasol, we were blessed with a secret."
The two younger merfolk leave, and Lyldshy starts to talk. "There is a great secret that books may reveal, but they reveal only half of it. The second half is another password, which is bear. Without that, you'll not be able to claim your prize." She winks. "You should be going now."
