You keep going on the beach, wondering how long it is. No wonder they call it the sandy road! It might well as be a highway, though, because compared to other areas, this land is much less populated. That's probably because few species would ever live in a beach to begin with.
Yet, another pair of creatures is approaching you. They are hopping rather than wakling, which gives you the strange impression of a kangaroo. They slow when they see you, and wait for you to continue to them.
As you approach, the black one smiles at you, extending a paw, which you shake.
"I am Belmosos," he says. "A kolaroo, a very rare species."
"Yes, we are," says the other, which is obviously female. "I am Inehad. We are traveling together. We may settle in the beach."
"Why?" you ask.
Belmoses replies, "Because we like living in an area where there is water. We used to live on the island, but we moved off of it. It's not a place for us."
"Where's the island?" you ask, eager to find it.
This time, Inehad is the one with the answer. "You'll have to travel by boat to the docks, which are straight that way." She points to the left, where you can clearly make out some sort of wooden creation. "And they should be able to get you there."
