OVERVIEW: The Bears of the Wood, which have no special name, are particularly clever and capable of helping their caretakers and many tasks. Capable of speech, these bears are also commonly kept as pets, for they make great company. They can live in any environment, so long as there is one area -- such as a house -- that can keep them at a comfortable climate. They prefer eating meat, although berries and other fruits are also needed to ensure health. These bears, unlike common bears, do not hibernate in the winter, although it is possible for them to hibernate for a month at a time in times of need.
