You look up and see parts of the castle, shaped against the sky. It's a bit dark, but you realize that's because of the walls in front of you, which are high, blocking the light from the sun.
There is no moat and draw bridge, but given the amount of time it took you to get through the maze, you know there need not be any. As you walk to the doors, which could easily fit a line of four knights on horses, the doors open outward, allowing you to enter.
