Title

Castle of the Wood

Sierra's and Swayzer's Home

Sierra

The third door is very clean and has a large knocker on it. You grab it and knock quietly, hoping that you needn't wait outside too long. The door quivers a bit after you knock, which makes you jump a little.

As the door swings inward, a woman in black steps into your view. She has a pale face but a wide, welcoming smile. "Ah, a wanderor, do come in," she says, waving her hand to a nearby chair just inside the room.

Although you're a bit shaken by the door, you enter and sit quitely. The woman walks over to what appears to be a couch (It looks to be more of a bed with a side sticking up to create a couch, actually) and smiles. "I am Sierra."

She pats something large and orange to the left of her, and you then realize that she has a tabby cat sitting next to her. She smiles and says, "And, this is my orange tabby, Swayzer."

Swayzer

The cat peers over at you with great, green eyes almost bored.

She laughs and then says, "Have you come looking for something at the castle wanderor? Or are you looking for someone?"

A bit taken aback by the question, you explain that you were told to come here by many in the Wood, and since you're on an adventure, you came here. She seems to be please with this answer, but she then says, "There are other rewards in the Wood, do you know about them, too?"

You think for a while, and then ask, "You mean, the adoptions?"

She smiles and nods. "I think that if you went to the dungeons, you'll find that there is more information there. Although the Wisdom is the best place to go if you have any questions about the Wood and such."

"The Wisdom...?" you ask.

She turns to you, and then shakes her head. "Most wanderors were not told this, so Swayzer tells me anyway." She turns to him and pats him; then, he runs off into the other room. "He's a very smart feline," she winks. "Anyway, once the Wisdom was so huge that books were given to Andomo, the wisest of all the cities in the Wood. If you can't find what you're looking for there, the Wisdom here -- some people call it a library -- will help you with other questions."

She tuts, however. "Some books, of course, have gone missing. Some say it was because the Wood shifted. Others say that the books gave away secret hiding places, and therefore were removed. But these are false. They were stolen." She sighs. "Some are even on the split path, although you won't need those to complete your quest..."

She turns to you quickly, "There is someone you should talk to if you find any lost books. The book keeper will give you something special if you find them!" She smiles, and shows you out of her home.
