You find yourself in an area that seems totally flat and dark at first sight. On a second glance, however, you can see bits and pieces of things that look like they don't belong there. There is an area full of trees, almost like a forest, except a swampy land runs around it. Bits of rock poke up out of the ground, as if trying to make a mountain.
In front of you, there is about an acre of grass before it becomes brown and soggy in the distance. Then there seems to be a lot of brush. And, in the middle of that brush, you can a castle, rising out of the ground. Perhaps it was built on a bit of ground that also wanted to be a mountain, for it is raised and slightly tilted.
Looking at both sides of you, you find that the land cuts into the wastelands and brush in front of you. For right now, anyway, there is only one way to go.
