You find yourself being drawn into a light, which makes you turn a sharp corner (almost snagging yourself on the thorns!) to see an alicorn! Surely, you think this creature cannot be working for Fri-on! Perhaps she is a prisoner?
"Halt," she says.
She casts her eye over you, as if sizing you up. "I am a Keeper."
You stop and look at her. "Uhm, what does that mean?" you ask.
She does not smile. "I am a magical being entrusted with the keeping of a rare creature. If you defeat me, you shall win the creature. If you lose, you shall die. If you'd rather not bother, turn back now and that magical portal will transport you to the beginning of the maze."
"But the castle!" you exclaim.
She glares at you, but says, "The castle cannot be reached here, you'll have to try a different path."
