The next creature to approach you is a small cat, and she keeps darting in and out of a door. You follow her, thinking that is what she wants. You enter a room quite literally filled with cats.
You introduce yourself, but none of them respond, except to purr. Perhaps they don't (or can't) speak English, you think.
The one that has brought you into the room points her tail at a small sign. Among other things, there is a short list of names. "Binya...Feir...Caycan...Sieguid."
You pat the one you followed in and find that two more walk over to you. One is grey and the other is a golden-brown.
They all seem rather lonely, and when you pet them they purr loudly and walk around your legs. They must not get too many visitors, which saddens you. They're all so friendly, why doesn't anyone live with them? Perhaps someone takes care of them.
The room is filled with scratching posts and cat-size beds. While you see four beds, and saw four names, there are only see three cats. Where is the fourth one?
You turn to leave and see the fourth cat: a long haired white feline. He doesn't seem happy to meet you. Unlike the other cats, he doesn't let you pet him. He walks over to his bed, looks at you to make sure you're still near the door, and lies down.
The other cats, however, aren't so keen on letting you leave. They mew sadly as you step over the threshold of the door. You go back and pat the other three one more time before you leave.
