Knock....knock....knock... You lightly pound on the door, eager to meet some residence.
"Who is there?" comes a deep female voice. "Introduce yourself!"
You do so quickly, telling her that Osteden has told you to meet some of the others who live here. She doesn't seem terribly taken aback by you. She waits a few moments before openning the door, revaealing a half-feline, half-humaniod woman.
"My name is Brienhilda," she says. "I am an archer, although most of my work involves hunting." She seems keen to not let you into her quarters, though, so you respect that.
A small draconic creature (which also seems to be part canine) comes into view just behind Brienhilda. "Who is this?" she asks.
Brienhilda turns and looks at the creature and says, "A wanderor." She turns back to you and begins, "This is Sela, she's a Jeiz'n and she resides here with me."
Intrigued you ask, "Is she sort of a pet... ?"
Both of them throw you haughty looks, but then Brienhilda shades her head. "An understandable mistake, I suppose. Most of the residents here have 'pets', but Sela is capable of living on her own. We're roomates. It gets us one of the larger rooms and we get to have someone to talk to at night."
You appologize, but Sela says, "There's no need."
