As you approach the house with yellow flowers, the door swings open and a male fairy steps out, looking as though he expected you. He beams at you and beckons you to enter.
"Welcome, please call me Iseom," he says. "I am the Keeper of the Sabre Cats." He glows with pride.
He clears his throat and begins. "You see, the Queen is fond of felines, but as she has so many canines at the Palace, she can't keep them there. Therefore, the felines have been delegated to some of the more trusted residents, like myself, to be watched over. I was ever so happy to be chosen, you see."
You ask, "So all the pets here are given to chosen people?"
He laughs. "Oh no, people also come here with pets, of course."
Mewing noises cut him off. He turns and points to the source of it: a small white and blue feline. "That's Pereogrin. He's not terribly found of visitors, but he doesn't seem to mind you."
He returns to the subject of pets, however. "The Queen, like I said, takes good care of many dogs up at her Palace. You should really go visit..."
Another Sabre Cat mews, but this one walks over to Iseom and lays at his feet, as if expecting him to care for her right now. Iseom smiles and says, "Yes, Accune, we shall go for a walk soon, I'm just talking to this visitor right now..."
Accune's eyes regard you, and she purrs a bit.
At these words, however, two more of the felines rush over, both looking somewhat different compared to the first two. Iseom introduces the grey as Xussune and the black as Bavivyre.
"Xussune is rather fond of Accune," he remarks needlessly as the two felines cuddle. The black seems to linger just behind Iseom, as if expecting something as well.
Finally, he says, "We really should be out on our walk, you know? That's why they're all swarming me like this. They like to walk in the Woods." He gives a wry smile. "And they don't even need a leash!"
