You walk through the door and find not a kennel with small dog pens, but a hallway with separate rooms. The fairy walks ahead of you, telling you various things about the kennels. Apparently, each dog or dog pair has their own room, and each is taken for three walks a day and fed only the finest foods.
She walks over to the first inhabited room and points inside. "These two are beagles, some of the finest I've ever seen. They were named in the way of the Elves. That one with the black is Aniorere, and that's her mate, Zothax."
You peer in to see two rather happily and playful dogs. They look rather young, which could explain their energy. You nod to show you've understood, and Vorend makes a slight chirping noise, almost like a whistle but much stronger.
Both snap instantly to attention, sitting back and looking alertly at Vorend. "They are well trained, as well." She smiles at your startled face. "But I would expect nothing less. They are the Queen's."
You give one last glance to the dogs before following Vorend.
