Sure enough, as you walk forward, you notice the land changing. Instead of grass, dirt and other vegitation mingle here and there with the meadow. You can tell that it is soon coming to an end.
You are almost blinding by two speeding balls of light. As soon as it happens, however, it stops. You look around wildly, wondering what just happened. You can't tell, so you head toward the cresent.
"Hold it," says a female voice. "What do you think you're doing?"
You now know what the ball of light was. Before you stands a brilliantly colored equine--she literally burns with color.
"Yeh, that's right," comes a male voice."Where are you going?"
You see the second ball of light. He is darker than the first, but he still burns with some kind of strange coloration. He looks rather unhappy with you.
"Well, since you can't seem to speak, I'm Luda," says the first.
"And I'm Varya," says the second. "You got a name?"
Again, you give a hasty introduction and explain you're heading to the Cresent of Life. Both of them shake their heads. "Good for you. Good luck."
Not sure of what to make of this, you hesitate. Luda continues, "The Cresent has so much stuff in it. You'll never get to see it all. Most people settle down there because whatever they need there grows there, you know? Any kind of vegitation can flourish there, so long as someone needs it. Gives people a chance to live with species they never would have. But, goodness, it's messy! Not organized at all!"
