You keep going, wondering why there are fewer signs of creatures here. The path turns into a dirt road, making you think that whoever built it is not done yet. No matter, though, because the dirt road is as smooth and flat as the stone one was.
You then feel the ground shaking, as if there is an earthquake rattling beneath it. You stumble and fall, and before you know it there is a loud, booming yell.
"Hahahaha!" cries a male voice. The rumbling and movement stop abruptly. Slowly, you stand up, worried that it will start to shake again.
But when you look up, you see a huge dinosaur with a shell of sparkling emeralds upon his back. His eyes match his gems, and his heavy feet clop the ground while you look him over.
"Howdy," he says. "My name's Yggune of the family Emerald." He shakes his shell. "When I saw you, I just had to come running. Wanderors are more interesting than even receiving gems!"
You then understand what caused all the shaking. A bit unhappily, you introduce yourself and ask him about receiving gems.
Yggune smiles. "Well, when my kind are born, they stick the gems right in the shell, depending on your family, of course. We get on well with the Ruby family, so I suppose you can say we're related. But in any case, like I said, wanderors are more interesting because they're rare."
He smiles. "Sorry, I didn't mean to give you a fright. Look, if you walk right over that way," he points his tail towards a thinner path that looks like it has been worn by feet, "it will take you over to the orchard. Nice little place."
With that, he walks off, still making the ground shake a bit.
