Now the alternative paths are becoming larger, and they seem to lead somewhere, but for fear of the cougra you keep walking straight. However, you approach a fork in the road and don't know which way is the same passageway.
You hear happy mewings coming from the left fork, and you wait for whoever is coming. To your surprise, you see a feline with what appears to be a mane of flame on his head and his sleek black body is moving rather quickly towards you.
You give a short introduction, but he doesn't seem to take in a word of it. He mews and purrs a bit before running past you and going down the way you came. You're left at the fork, wondering which way would be best to go.
The left fork abruptly turns completely left, disappearing into the distance. The right fork only turns slightly right than continues straight.
