This next room is empty except for a large couch made of an intricate seaweed weave. You say "hello" and feel rather foolish, speaking to an empty room full of seaweed. Just as you plan to exit, a large sea creature floats down and sits on the couch.
She looks you over and says, "Welcome, dear wanderor, to my home. I am Tyrenah."
You introduce yourself, although it seems silly to do that because she already knows you are a wanderor. Then, before you can stop yourself, you ask, "What are you?"
She seems pleased by this question. "My species does not have a name. I might be the only of my kind in existance. Not only in the Wood, but everywhere. But that is no matter. I have the special gift of tongues."
"Tongues?" you ask. What kind of creature has more than one tounge?
She chuckles. "I can speak all sorts of languages, and even understand some of the names of the Wood...at least, what their origins are. I know, for instance, that some are Babylonian and others are Norse."
She pauses and rearranges herself. "But other species use special languages among themselves. For instance, I know the gryphons and the dragons both have a different language, although I rarely get to talk to them..."
