It doesn't take you long to see what the canine was talking about. You find that there are numerous equine, some in herds, wandering around the pastures. Most scoot off when you approach, so you don't meet many as you walk.
Finally, however, you find an equine running toward you, her blue body flashing brightly in the sunlight. She seems wild and free, and she halts just a few feet in front of you, on a nearby hill. Her eyes are very stern when she asks, "Halt. Who are you?"
You introduce yourself, somewhat worried that she might have been sent here to drive you off.
"Ah, welcome," she says lightly. "Call me Veahsac'Biyon."
You nod, but then ask, "Is there like a shorter name...?"
She sighs. "It means Untamed River, that might please your tongue more. We are named in an old language, we Fei'Daqq." She bows her head. "I was sent here to mist you, if you were a hunter, you know."
"Mist me?" you say.
A smile breaks across her face, "My Chatqui, or skills, are Snow and Mist. Some others saw you and thought you might be dangerous, but surely not. Well, that being said, please do go, wanderor...don't let me hold you up."
