As you approach the center of the village, a greyish black creature is there, kneeling. Unwilling to disturb him, you walk around, looking for houses to visit. As you pass him, he turns his head to you, giving you a long, mournful look.
You squeak out an introduction, and he rises to his feet. "I am Geirya, and I live here. You can not visit my house, but may I recommend visiting the Great One?" He points to the third house. "The wisest of us all!"
Upon seeing your bewilderment, he clarifies. "Wanderors always go there first to meet the one who can tell them where to go. It's the best place for you if you're new, or haven't been here in a while. I went there myself, before I moved into the Wood."
