Title

The Villiage of Andomo

The House of the Flame

Hutan'Hakli

You approach the first house, thinking you would like to meet the other residents of the wood. You are surprised to see that, despite the fact that the house looked small before, it most certainly is not. Its height looms above the other houses, which seem quite dwarfed in comparison.

With perhaps a little apprehension, you knock on the door. Despite the fact that the house is much larger, the door doesn't seem much bigger that a normal door.

Slowly, the door swings open to reveal a huge room, which has a number of oddly shaped things within, which perhaps would be considered furniture to one who lives there. Some large, seemingly soft squishy masses are squeezed into each corner. You can see a door leading into another room as well.

But, of all things, the most remarkable part about this room is all the long poles sticking out from the sides of it. Did a giant live here? Perhaps he or she climbs those polls...

But that thought is erased from your mind when you head the wooshing of wings and a soft thunk on the ground. In front of you, there is a small green dragon with orange and yellow undermarkings. He seems quite pleased with your arrival.

"Greetings, I am Hutan'Hakli," he says, with a semi deep voice. "I see you've come to visit Andomo. Have you visited the Wise One yet? Have you met any other Firebellies?"

You stand, quite unsure of which question to answer, and not knowing exactly what a firebelly was. He, seeing your confusion, smiles and says, "Firebellies are my kind, Firebelly Dragons. We live in flares. The flare here consists of just two, my mate and I, because none of our other kin wanted to come with us."

"Your mate?" you ask.

Cora'li'Shexlin

As soon as the words leave your mouth, there is another wooshing of wings and a soft thump on the ground. You turn to see a much darker colored dragon. She is definately larger than he is, with a heart shaped ending to her tail.

"Ah, wanderor," she says. "I am Cora'li'Shexlin."

Her name being more complex than her mate's, you cannot repeat it in your greeting. Without knowing if she took too much notice, she continues to speak.

"It means Heart of Flame, as his name means Green Surprise." She nods, as if this ended the confusion entirely.

She turns to you and says, "I can offer you little in the ways of advice, despite the fact that we are the most wise town of all. I can only tell you that there is much awaiting you in this wood, and that there are rumors of an evil wizard about. Some say he is the same wizard that was once, long ago, in the council...is it true? I shall never know..."
