You pass even deeper into the coral reef, finding areas of it so teeming with fish that you have to swim away in order to get through. This one school seems to have various colors of fish, although they all seem to be the same species. They don't swim away from you when you get close to them.
One that is all white with red-pink eyes (is she albino?) approaches you. She says, "I am Soidia."
"I lead this school of cories," she passes a glance at all the other fish with her. "I suppose I could introduce you to them."
Very quickly, she says, "Roedon, Sirrow, Aeacien ... Venia, Sevigonnor ... Aligse, Bovale, Kedilaviel, Liecon ... and Jerir."
She casts a glance at the other cories, who all bob with agreement. It is very strange to see them all moving at once. But you continue to swim around them, looking to see their various patterns.
Some of them have a pattern that looks cloudy and blend with their white bodies. Others, however, have a stripe pattern on their backs. You've never seen anything quite like that on a fish before. Those ones, however, are particularly skittish and dart away behind the others as soon as you get a good look at them.
Two of the fish approach you, smiling. "We hear that there is a great gift kept in the city of Aquax. There they hide something valuable. But we also hear that there is something hidden nearby, you know?"
They blink at you, then turn to return their own group. You wonder what they're hiding, and if you want to discover what they have hidden. Perhaps it is a sea monster or an adoptable creature?
