Just as you were told, you approach a small sign that points at odd angles. The first sign points down and right, reading "Coral Reef". The second sign points level and left, reading "Ocean Dome". The last rung reads "Aquax", and it points straight ahead.
A small creature swims toward you, and it reveals itself to be a half-horse, half-mercreature. She stops when she sees you reading the sign. "Do you plan on actually following that?" she asks.
You shrug, not sure if she's teasing you or not.
She sighs. "No one knows how vast the ocean is, not even I, Poleme. This is the only sign, and you can very easily get lost. The coral reef and dome are easy to find, but Aquax..." she shakes her head. "I don't know why it is even on this sign..."
"What is Aquax?"
"The underwater city, of course!"
