You swim for what seems like ten minutes before you see that the reef is indeed about ot end. You come to stop, relaxing a bit before you go on. You see some sort of creature approaching. Whatever it is, it has purple and red scales.
You see her now: a sea dragon! Her fangs are huge. For a second, you think about running, but what good would it do? She's swimming three times as fast as you ever could. Not wanting to provoke her, you simply stay put, wondering what she's going to do.
"Oh, there you are," she says. "I am Shesha."
She stops speaking and literally bolts next to you, making you float back feet from her in surprise. She looks over at you and says, "I thought you might want to accompany me to the surface. I can drop you off at the beach. Would you like that?"
