You find yourself at the foot of a large, flat desert. Dunes raise up here and there, but otherwise it seems to go on forever. Behind you, a set of caves sits, and you can make out mountains in the distance. Perhaps this desert will lead to them...but should you travel into it? It's awefully hot.
"Hey there, travelor," says a gruff yet kind voice. You turn to see a wolf with a horn on his head and a purple mane. "I see you're thinking about traveling in there. Better be careful, there's not too much water."
You thank him and introduce yourself. He chuckles. "Well, a wanderor is it? Well, good to know. Tell ya what, if you let old Dune have a few minutes, I can fetch you some water up real quick. What do you say?"
Relieved to know that you won't be traveling into a desert without water, you nod and he runs off. Where could he go to get water in a place like this? There must be an oasis nearby, perhaps. Within ten minutes, he returns with the largest sack of water you've ever seen.
"It might be heavy now, wanderor, but when it gets lighter you'll be sorry. Good luck, and don't waste too much time. If you travel quickly, you might miss the sun at its peak." He smiles and trots off.
