Title

The Jaded Jungle

With a bit more trepidation that before, you enter into the jungle. The centaur was right; the jungle is thick and heavy, not to mention hot, and all around you the growth is so thick that it could very well be a badly grown maze wall. The path in front of you, however, is very clear, as if there is a no-growing zone. To your surprise, however, even about twenty feet above the path, the plants have grown thickly overhead, almost covering the sun. This at least makes it cooler. You set off down the path.

As you walk, you notice that some areas are thinner than others. You wonder how a centaur could possibly fit into the growth, but maybe they are too magical to care. Your thoughts are interrupted by a thump on the back of your head.

"Ha! Take that!" cries a high-pitched, yet still masculine, voice. "AND THAT!"

You feel small, hooved feet kicking you in your arm, but it doesn't really hurt. You turn around and don't see anything. After a few minutes of frantic looking, you finally catch a glimpse of something that makes you fall clear over.

"Hi," says a small, winged unicorn, fluttering over you. Three more land by your head with a soft, dirt-muffled thump.

"We totally one that one," squeaks one.

"Yes, and I bet you didn't even see us coming!" squeaks another.

You introduce yourself, hoping to get an explination, but none of them seem to think it's necessary. They giggle and fly away as soon as your introduction is done, one of them singing, "Wait tell I tell the others!"
