You decide to continue onward, a bit confused by the random pelting of small unicorns, but curious about the jungle nonetheless. As you pass deeper into the jungle, you see that the paw and hoof prints seem to disappear, as if this part of the Jungle is not often traveled.
"Why, helloooooooooooooo there!" cries a voice. You look around again, despite the fact that you can see the majority of the path without looking.
To your surprise, the brambles and branches on one side of the path pull back, letting onto the path a short centaur. She doesn't seem to notice anything interesting about her entrance, however. She's looking straight at you.
"Ahah, there you are!" she cries. "I'm Wicon, and I thought I should come and talk to you, since you met Isaden back there. I didn't think she would be the kind to welcome you to the Jaded Jungle."
You introduce yourself briefly then ask her about the small unicorns.
"Oh yes," says Wicon, "those are fairy unicorns. A lot of the creatures you run into here will be smaller, unless they're centaurs, like me."
As she speaks, a small rodent runs out into the path, as if looking for something. When he sees you, he squeaks and heads back for the brambles. You can hear him surrying around for a bit before Wicon speaks again.
"Really, this jungle is designed for small animals, but every space needs some sort of guardian or group of guardians. The jungle chose the centaurs, and so we can move about freely in the brambles."
She smiles for a bit and then continues, "Anyway, for most creatures, the jungle isn't as thick as you see it. However, since you don't live here, you can't see it as it is. I will have to warn you to keep on the path, because if you don't, you will probably be killed."
With that, she runs off, the jungle again openning for her.
