You enter into the cave to find another wolf on guard, although he does not pounce you when you enter. As a matter of fact, he seems quite delighted that you've come. He lifts his head up and barks three times, almost as if it is some kind of formal welcome.
"I am Glittering Splendor," he says, in a remarkably deep voice.
You introduce yourself and explain what you're doing here. He seems even happier now that he knows why you have come. "Well, I can indeed show you to the plaque. It has all of our names and ranks on it. Would you like to see?"
"Obviously, the two alphas are the leaders, but our other ranks deal with our jobs," he says quickly, while ushering you over to a sign.

"Why were you spread out before?" you ask.
He laughs. "We were silly, that is why." He points further into the cave. "If you'd like, the rest of the pack shall be within."
